Hello,
I have a tractor with a 70's12V GM alternator on it. The pulley nut has come off and I need to get a replacement. Can you tell me what size the alternator pulley nut is? It is larger
than 5/8” but I do not know what it could be. Thank you.

The pulley nut is a special size and thread.
The shaft is 17mm and the thread is .668
