| Before and after pictures showing the 105 amp CS-130D
alternator replaced by the CS-144 single rectifier alternator with wiring
harness adapter on the 1997 Chevy Blazer 4.3 V-6 engine. Installing the CS-144
single or dual rectifier 140, 170 or 200 amp alternator is as easy as,
CS-130D out CS-144 in. |
 |
 |
| Just disconnect the negative battery terminal at the
battery, remove the belt, disconnect the battery cable at the alternator,
remove rear bracket bolt, remove two lower mounting bolts & pry
alternator out, then un-plug regulator plug at alternator. |
On this vehicle the rear mount was just a thin sheet metal
mount so we just bent it back for clearance. Some models have a heavier
rear bracket that may have to be removed. Install the CS-144 unit in place
of the CS-130D, install belt, plug in adapter harness, connect battery
wire at alternator and at the battery, your done! It's just that easy to
get the power and reliability you need. |
